Dr. Saad Saad is a New Jersey based pediatric surgeon. He is a highly skilled and innovative doctor who always attracts the attention of humanitarian groups, other doctor’s, as well as the Saudi Royal Family. He was approached by a non-profit and non-political group to help address medical needs for children in the Mid-East. The primary need was for a particular child who suffered a gunshot wound where doctors were able to save the child’s life, but injuries were too complicated and extensive to be treated by local medical doctors. The group, Palestine’s Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) brought the child to the United States to be treated by Dr. Saad.
In 2010, Saad performed surgery on a baby girl whose intestines were exposed to the outside. The doctor’s in Palestine worked for 18 months to correct the condition The PCRF organization sent the child to the United States to be treated by Dr. Saad. In a five hour operation, Dr. Saad created what he described as a “fig leaf cover” that greatly helped the child.
Dr. Saad helped another child in 2013 when a young boy was injured in a bomb attack. His leg was paralyzed and he was confined to a wheelchair. Dr. Saad teamed with a nerve specialist to treat the child and perform a nerve transplant in the United States. Dr. Saad wanted to treat children who are underprivileged and bring his surgical skills to the children of Palestine. Part of his medical mission is to pass along his skills to the young surgeons to carry on with Saad’s mission.
Dr. Saad has received several awards recognizing his efforts. He was awarded the Gold Medal of Palestine by the President of Palestine for his work. The PCRF recognized Dr. Saad with their Humanitarian Award and the Governor of Ramallah and the Ministry of Health recognized Dr. Saad for his humanitarian efforts.
Dr. Saad has accrued more than 42 years of experience and has maintained a focus on pediatric and general surgery. He is affiliated with several medical facilities including Monmouth Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, and the Medical Center at Clara Maass. He is based in Eatontown, New Jersey and maintains offices in Forked City, as well as Eatontown, New Jersey.
Dr. Saad studies at Cairo University Medical Hospital and received his degree in medicine in 1971. He has been performing complex pediatric surgeries in the United States, as well as the Mid-East. Part of his medical mission is to educate and train doctors of the future in an effort to help improve the lives of children throughout the world. Although, currently somewhat retired his influence continues to be felt throughout the medical community. His main goal is to make a difference in the lives of others, especially children.
